but there was a cop about 3 car lengths infront of me during busy peak hours.

i watched him to see what he was doing because he said something to another guy splitting lane but he never arrested him or pulled him over because he saw me in his rear view mirror and wanted a piece of me instead.

we were doing 30 miles per hour and there were cars everywhere ... i pretended to signal and exit the freeway then i saw the cop did the same thing infront of me. i then snugged back into the freeway and slowly hid behind a car blocking his vision.

The cops didn't exit the freeway and came back into traffic ... i watched him and luckily he just past the exit and couldn't turn around to come after me so i quickly got out of the freeway ...

Holy crap that was the 3rd time i almost got done by the cops ...

I think i'm gonna take it easy now and not split lanes like a super sports bike rider.

 

Splitting lanes is so addictive once you've done it you will just keep on doing it ;(

Yeah my inner voice is telling me to stop doing stupid things i'm gonna listen to it from now on.

 

In California the cage drivers are used to seeing bikes split lanes and will not freak out when it happens. I would not try it n other states. Besides in Hawaii, you have all the tourists to deal with. they can hardly stay in thier lane as it is, much less share it.

 

I dont know why when i get going i cant stop i am addicted to troubles i was being stupid and i knew it but i cant stop it

Im not pissing on anyones parade or riding style - whatever.. in NJ lane splitting is a life threatening exercise. Ride how you wish. But yeah, I agree with the prior assessments.. Im curious, you state you get into trouble.. Care to share?
