'48 Panhead or '85 FXSB
Hello,
New to this site and man, it looks awesome. Didn't want to post this in Classic or Evo section because I want a total unbiased opinion. My family & I live on the road and the time has come down to having to finally clean the storage unit since we're tired of paying for it and selling of one of two bikes. The reason why i because we live on the road in our RV full/most of the time and can only take one bike with me. The choices I have is either my '48 Pan on a swingarm frame or my swingarm '85 FXSB Low Rider. Now of course the Panhead leaks and does give me some trouble, but I built this bike from ground up. My '85 was a straight buy and no build, but like many Evo's it is reliable. It's not an easy decision like you think, I've had this Pan for a long while. Just trying to get some personal opinions.

If it's just gonna sit in storage, sell the Pan to me. With the swingarm, it's not original anyway. There's enough antiques around sitting still as it is.

You can buy a Evo at any dealer, at any time. To say nothing of Craig's list, E-bay, want-ads etc.
Now a Panhead is another story. And you can always drop it into an aftermarket ridged frame. Yeah, with a springer front, a flame job, 8 ball shift ****.....
