Summer 2010. I was too lazy to drain the oil out of my V92TC before I changed a starter motor, so I just laid it on its side to remove the primary cover.

Little heavier than I thought it would be to get back up. I was sore for a week.

About ten years ago. My buddy had a stator go out . His daughter brought tthe truck to us. It was a bit of a struggle to get his wide glide up into the bed of his lifted Chevy 4 x 4. A set or ramps would have been really nice but she didn't think to bring them.

About two months ago. Getting ready to park, put my boot down in some gravel and over she goes. Fortunately just over on the engine guard. With a bunch of people watching, I walked around and lifted it back up the right way looking all calm, but really embarrased as hell.

Angry Really embarrasing

#1 My first Ultra (a 2003 I think) and it was to high for my short inseam. We were on a pre-poker run with our HOG group. We came up on a stop sign and some of the guys rolled through. It was my turn as I came up to the sign and a cop had slowed. I didn't want to roll through and so stopped, but on the right side was a low shoulder and when I put foot down, over I went. Everyone got to see it.

#2 I'm showing son new bike and explaining it's a little tall for me. As I'm showing him over I go.

New '11 FLHTK has an Arnott suspension that is 1" shorter when fully pumped up, is really low when I let air out.

Early 90's I rode my buddy's Honda Hurricane. Wasn't used to the small steering lock on the bike and dropped it turning around in a gravel church parking lot. I was so pissed at myself for dropping his bike that I yanked it up without even getting off, just planted my left foot, pushed on the right peg and picked it up by the bars. It was a lot lighter than my Harley though, and I was a lot younger.

Just picked my Limited up the other day, it went over when I parked on a slope. I've seen the method in the video numerous times, but when it came time for me to do it, I just reached down and hefted it up. It was on the downward angle of the slope with the handlebars resting on the ground. I was in too much of a hurry to worry about the proper method.

I sat mine down on the engine guard when I had a couple friends around, just in case, to see if it would start to flop on over. It didn't. I did the back to the bike pickup maneuver. Doable but not fun. I'm very careful about making sure the jiffy stand is down when I park.
