When's the Last Time You've Had to Pick up a Bike?
#32
Back in august. My brand new 2013 ultra classic. Didn't even have 2000 miles on it yet. On vacation and the driveway to our cabin was mossy. Mix it with rain and down it it went. Needless to say I was sick. Got most scuffs fixed. Still have one on left side saddle bag rail. If anybody removed theirs and don't have any use for the left rail I could give it a home

About 3 and half years ago. The gentleman I bought my HD from had to sell it because of a health issue. I just paid the guy for my Ultra Classic and was backing the bike out of his garage. His apron was angled more than I thought and over on its side she went. It was much different than my Gold Wing but, the lifting method worked very well. She is a heavy beast! Thank God for the hwy pegs. No scratches. 👍

I came close to picking mine up yesterday.
We were looking at a historical bridge and I wanted to stop and park the bike. So I was slowing to a stop on a downward slope, put both feet down and had my hand on the front brake. The wheel started sliding in the loose rock and turned toward the left, which made the whole bike start leaning/falling to the left.
If my wife hadn't been there, it would have fallen. Alone, I was doing good to hold it up but not right it. It was close.
