That's what a cop friend said to me when I had my Camaro "you can't out run the radio"
I still would like to know what they did to the engine on this thing, I know it isn't stock.

Our cops know how to roll.
You should see those guys lane split on the freeway. Poetry in motion. I would never try to outrun a CHP motor officer.
I don't know if it's still required, but to pass CHP motor school, prospects used to have to do one final move:
Take a test bike into a controlled low side, dismount during the slide while pulling a sidearm, and then use the bike as cover.

While the crotch maybe faster, from my point of view the crotch rocket rider in not nearly as skilled as a CHP motor officer. If by chance the crotch rocket was able to elude a motor officer, you still can't out run a radio, not to mention to long of violations they re in for.

According to http://www.policemag.com/blog/vehicl...forcement.aspx
The police Electra Glide cycles bear many similarities to the civilian versions, including the V-twin 103cc engine, and have been upgraded for police use. The dealer is changing out the stock cam for H-D's SE-255 Cam kit to increase torque and "give it a bit more out of the hole, more horsepower, and more top-end speed," Genthner said.
The bikes also include a robust charging system, heated hand guards and grips, and a push-to-talk system.
