Always! And that has nothing to do with the helmet law here in Califat all, just common sense to me. Isometimes wonder if I'm stupidriding in just a short sleeved t-shirt let alone with no helmet. Even if I didn't give a damn about myself it's my family to think about and what killing myself would do to them. Relatively minor crashes can be fatal with no helmet.

 

The earlier comment about Indian Larry should have some strong meaning. Think of the people that say: I don't need one around town. I only need on on the highway.

Started riding not wearing a helmet over 40 yrs ago,and fought to repeal the law in Maine that we had for 4 or 5 yrs back in the 70's.Ihave always felt much safer without one for reasons some of you do not understand,a lot of you do.

 

I'm of the mind set like a lotof those out there, Let those who ride Decide... Also I think there's a lot of valid points pro and con.. So let's ride safe and often..Heads up and rubber down...BearC.Paw....

 

Sorry dog, that's pretty weak. Ch*t, I started riding motorcycles before motorcycle helmets were made and I for one don't understand.

I wear a helmet all the time, usually a half helmet unless it is frigid out and then I might throw on the full face.

 

Kevlar full face helmet during the cooler/rainy months, kevlar half helmet during the warmer months.

 

I always do. Either a full face or half.

 

I always wear a helmet. Can't stand the wind noise. Have too much hearing loss from working around F-105's. Also, years ago when I woke up in a dry wash, laying beside the bike, I found a large dent in the side of my helmet. Guess I'm still around because of that helmet.
