How many of you wear helmets?

RE: How many of you wear helmets?
Always! And that has nothing to do with the helmet law here in Califat all, just common sense to me. Isometimes wonder if I'm stupidriding in just a short sleeved t-shirt let alone with no helmet. Even if I didn't give a damn about myself it's my family to think about and what killing myself would do to them. Relatively minor crashes can be fatal with no helmet.

The earlier comment about Indian Larry should have some strong meaning. Think of the people that say: I don't need one around town. I only need on on the highway.
How fast was Indian larry going when he died?

Started riding not wearing a helmet over 40 yrs ago,and fought to repeal the law in Maine that we had for 4 or 5 yrs back in the 70's.Ihave always felt much safer without one for reasons some of you do not understand,a lot of you do.

I was always a big fan of helmets back in my ricer days. Now that I'm in the Harley world I notice not many of you wear helmets.
What was your choice and how did you decide that they were just not for you?

A friend crashed last Saturday morning. The officer asked him if he was wearing a helmet when he crashed. He said, "No. Helmets are brain buckets, and I ain't got no brains."
