Anyone know the part number for the oil plug o ring?

I'm not positive, but I don't think the plug has changed from previous years so it would be 11105 I think.

my brand new shiney manual tells all about the oil change and the part numbers for the filter-chrome or black, the H~D oil filter wrench part number the torque setting for the plug and to be sure to inspect the o-ring but no part number given.Sorry

I resd thjst in mine too, not listed in shop manual either.

But i bet someone here has the parts manual

I have both 11103 and 11105 they look identical [8D] Just wonder which is the correct one?

i know know tranny uses the same, but does the primary drain use a diff o ring?

Ibuy mine at the hardware shop in a packet of 20.
Nothing special about a 0 ring.
Make sure you get the correct size.

My H-D parts counter guy or gal would answer that question over the phone and their in stock. Yours won't? C'mon Keith.

Good Point Should be oil resistant .

Buna-N: In the Buna-N family, you will find compounds which are ideally suited for oil resistant applications of all types.
( taken from an O-Ring Manufacturer site )

I'm always forgeting the O-ring when I'm picking up a filter
Looks like a pkg is $3.00 or so (100 ), cheaper than driving 10 miles to my nearest dealer .

The o-ring for the oil and tranny plug is #11105 and for the primary #11324.
