Default Evil Monkey Kustoms Color Shifting Paint

I can’t imagine it’s cheap, but the looks you’d get from your riding buddies could be worth it. Get rolling in the morning when it’s cold, and your bike is orange, but by the time you stop for lunch, it’s black. Kind of cool I thought.

Reminds me of those Hypercolor shirts from the late 80s. It would be cool for flames or other graphics.

Whoa! I like that!!! Agreed flames or something similar would be better. But it's still cool!

That's what it reminded me of too!

lol! I had one of those. After several trips through the wash/dry cycle, it didn't work quite so well. Hopefully the paint is different.

Still, this is a very cool paint option. I wonder if the color & shine is nice, comparable to what we'd expect from today's paint, or if it has all the appeal of cheap primer. I suspect some compromises have to be made.
But yes... I'd use it on a bike or car project if it wasn't uber-expensive. It's MUCH cooler than that color-shifting crap that changes based on your angle of viewing.

The whole paints costs $320 per liter, but it will only last four to six months, due to excessive damage from UV light exposure. A UV protection clear-coat can be added to prolong its life.
Cool concept but I dont know if its worth it

I think it would be great if they could get it to change color at the gas level so you could just look at your tank and know what level your fuel was at. Now to me, that would be cool!

Pretty slick but the problem of only lasting a relatively short time is not cost effective
