Lazy Rider Cycle Bags - Anyone have one? - Got a deal on Craigslist
Was curious as to whether anyone out there has a Lazy Rider cycle bag for their bike? I was able to pick a brand new one up from a guy on Craigslist 'letting it go' for $40.00 bucks. He says he won it in a raffle, has no bike, and no use for it. The Lazy Rider website sells them for $185.00. I like this bag in that it has a removeable backrest that can be used when placing the bag on the passenger seat. Tested it out a bit today and it was like riding down the highway in a lounge chair. I can definitely see the value in having a back support system in place on longer trips. Anyhow, anyone tried this bag?

It works great. The only gripe I have is the PVC pipe is covered with Naugahide. Had mine for a couple of years and usedit on different bikes, Deluxe, SG and Deuce. I leave the TBag home if I'm just going for a couple of days.

I bought one for my bike and one for the wife's bike 6 or 7 years ago. I like it a lot and it makes the perfect back rest for my FXRS.

Looks like a great product. I'd buy one, but ...

Q. Do I need a sissy bar to use the bag?
A. Yes. I know of a couple of riders who don't have sissy bars, but I do not recommend it. The sissy bar is what keeps the bag from sliding backwards when you lean against it. Even if you really anchor the bag down tight, it could slip while you are leaning against it and may cause you to lose control of your bike. I say don't do it !!!!!!!!! One of my competitors states that you don't have to have a sissy bar with their bag. Apparently, they don't give a $#%^(* if you break your neck or not as long as you buy their bag."

I'm thinking of getting a "Lazy Rider Bag" for my Electra Glide Classic and was wondering which size might work best. I want it for back support and I think I'd prefer the smaller one but to those who have experience with these would the larger bag be better?
Thanks for any replies.
