Default Oregon Bedroll Kickstarter

I know there are a lot of fans of this product on various forums, just thought there would be some interest to post this kickstarter link:

Read the "comments" section on Oregon Bedroll's web page before ordering anything . Apparently many people have lost money to this outfit . http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...oregon-bedroll

Oh yeah woah, the owner of the project claims to be homeless, sleeping in his van outside McDonalds for the free wifi.

Stay the hell away from this project.

My "bedroll" is usually a Best Western or Holiday Inn.

The product idea is superb. I almost ordered one years ago, except for the fact that the things are only made for skinny little twerps as they're only 25" wide. Us big guys would have to buy two to have something to fit in with a little room to actually be able to move in without it feeling like a strait-jacket.

I'd still love to have one, but the price is just way too much and 'zipping' two together doesn't sound like it would be very waterproof since the 'zipper' part would still leak.

I've got two Originals. Can add a blanket and sheet and sleep outside, even in the rain. Made really well. Didn't get two sheet sacks, but that's cheap. Dude just couldn't stay on stop of the startup. Sorry that he couldn't, but maybe he'll get a Kickstarter out of it.

Here is what I have: http://www.hennessyhammock.com

Small, lightweight and no sleeping on the ground. I use this camping as well as when I go to do a field exercise.
