Default LED daymaker

Revived a black daymaker from a friend. Does anyone know why the hd dealer and website says it does not fit my 2000 fxdwg or any 05 and earlier fxdwg. Seems to fit and work. am I missing something. Went in as easy as
the old light came out?

There's a 5" and a 7". Other than that, I'm not sure what the differences are.

Yes it works just trying to understand why HD has a note that it does not fit my model.would have put one on years ago. The dealer could not answer. I posted so other fxdwg owners could actually install
A led daymaker.

My only guess would be that the location of the front turn signals can't be seen with the brighter and wider beam of the LED bulb.??

Might be electrical system issues.

To help other owners you should post the part number of the light that fit for you so they can know what to order.
