They might cost a little more, you can wear them all winter, the top line of HD leather is a berret grade of leather, I compared their chaps (deluxe vs standard) you could feel the difference with your hands. Zippers worked smoother, lined, and stretchy panels on the top inside the legs.

You can feel the weight difference in the jackets too. It's softer thicker than standard. Hey it's only money! They print gobbs of it every day.

 

Everything but the zippers on the jacket is top-notch. Ok the loops on the kidney belt as well

I still love it.
I've had 3 zippers replaced. 2 broke, 1 done to match.
Dealer takes it in the morning, gives it back in the afternoon. Replaced main and outside pockets with brass YKK zippers.
