Had a great day riding today. Stopped by the house to trade 2 wheels for 4 to go get the kids from school. I was drivingon a 4 lane road when a cager pulled out in front of me with plenty of room, got in the left lane to turn, turned his signal on and slowed.A rider on a RK came up in the left lane not paying attn and had to slam on his brakes and go left of center to avoid the now stopped car. Thankfully the car wasn't turning yet and there was no oncoming traffic. This coulda been UGLY! The cager in this case was innocent, it was the rider at fault.
Just a reminder that we have to pay attention at all times to everything going on around us. M/C vs Cager= cager wins most of the time!
Safe and happy riding, Jim
Good he came out okay, hopefully it will be a wakeup call to pay more attention. That woud not be something I would want to witness up close and personal.
