Been riding approx 40 yrs, toured US, Mexico and Canada, fortunately never laid one down. Been rear ended while stopped at a stop light, got shot accross the intersection but fortunately no cross traffic at the time.
Statistically, those envolved in accidents usually have a higherhistory of past accidents and traffic tickets. Itry to avoid both.

Been a while, have not laid down my Harley. Did a high speed offroad run on my ZZR1200 but kept it up by the grace of god. Also, did a 1 mph garage drop on my Z1000, only thing bruised was my ego.
Before that, it had been over 10 years. Knock on wood, I have never had a LONG slide or bad drop.
The saying is true, if you ride, you will fall at some point. Statistics prove it over and over again.

been riding a year and had my first accident on jan 31st... i wasnt wearing my contacts and the first curve i misjudged it....knew i was too hot and saw some grass so i decided to go through it...turned out to be a small ditch went through it and lost control went down then slid under the front of a car....broke my femur in 3 places and got a huge gash through the inside of my knee which required 25 stiches

RE: Anybody here that HASN'T wrecked?
Had a couple Hondas 15 years ago. Rode those for a couple years with no incidents.Got my Superglide a couple months ago and only have put 600 miles on it. I let it tip in the driveway when I didn't have my kickstand down correctly. Only scratched the derby cover. I was replacing the primary and derby covers the next day anyway. I am constantly covering the horn and the brakes. I am very conservative in a car, and moreso on the scoot. If I'm going to be sore, scarred, or dead, I don't want it to be from a motor vehicle. I'd rather it be a husband who came home earlier than expected.

Or is the saying "you ride, you slide" true?
How long you been riding and how many times have you layed it down?
Let's trade some war stories.
