Big thanks to Michaels H-D in Cotati, CA
Was on a 5,500 mile road trip with 6 Harley buddies when one of them spotted oil dripping from under my bike.
Called around to local dealer in Cotati (in the Redwoods) who called me right back and said no appointment necessary, just bring it in.
Got to their shop when it opened, and they assigned a mechanic to it right away.
He informed me that a rock had kicked up and broken the oil pan. Showed me the piece, and it was obvious what had happened.
I liked the way everybody in the place seemed relaxed with each other. He smiled when he said they had a replacement in stock. (otherwise I was really screwed).
He replaced the pan, and took a bunch of time to clean up the oily mess underneath the bike. Was concerned about any residual oil dropping down into the path of the rear tire.
While this was being done everybody hung out in their showroom ogling the new 2014 bikes and slurping down their free coffee.
Bought a few t-shirts and some keep warm gear.
They got us back on the road in just a couple hours, and the repair held up perfectly for the rest of the trip.
Everybody appreciated the quick service and the great hospitality while we were stuck with a leaky bike.
Just wanted to say how great full we were to have the dealers carry a full stock of replacement parts on their shelves.
Thanks again to Michael's Harley-Davidson in Cotati Ca.

We were on a Saturday ride about a year ago and one of the riders in the group picked up a nail in the rear tire. Michael's HD was able to get the bike in and replace the tire. No hassles about not having an appointment or we'll get to in a couple of hours. Friendly staff and sales group. Would buy from them if I lived closer.

Michael's is my local dealer and where I bought my '13 SG. Glad to hear about your positive experience.

More Big Props to Michael's.
My schedule is unconventional and I ride my bike everyday. I noticed a clutch problem just befor we were leaving for a trip and they managed to work the bike into their schedule (they were booked-up for the whole week) and managed to get the bike done before the only window of time when I could pick the bike up. If they hadn't have jumped on it so well, I would have been without the bike for another week, but they made it.
I'm a happy guy. My wife is glad she's not going to have to put up with me being bikeless. Apparently I'm not the happiest guy when I have to drive a car. After driving the motorhome for a week, I NEEDED to ride my motorcycle.
