Default I want a deeper tone to my exhaust

Currently I have a set of V&H Big Shot Shorts on my 98 Fatboy and it sounds ok. But yesterday I was out and the few bikes I saw had deepier throatier sound. What pipes do you suggest I get for this type of sound? Thanks.

Go to bike night or a ride, poker run or something and decide for yourself what you like. Kinda hard to form a like or dislike on the internet.

My son has a set of Bub JugHuggers on his 04 Fatboy that have a nice sound... a little edgey, but you might seek them out based on your V&H background. A co-worker recently added some Samson Big Swoopies to his Fatboy and I was impressed with their sound too... you prolly just need to go where there are a lot of bikes assembled and listen for "the sound" that stirs your soul. I doubt there's more than one or two people in the entire world that won't take the time to talk with you after you complement them on the great sound of their bike (hint).

[sm=confused06.gif]I would suggest asking those bikers who have the sound you are looking for instead of the rest of us speculating...just my .02[sm=goodidea.gif]

I just installed a set of RUSH slipons with a 2" baffel on my 07 haritage classic and I love the tone that I am getting, (deep) but to each its own

I just thought someone knew where I was coming from and could point me in the right direction. I like the Big Radius's from V&H but Im not feeling the 600 price tag. I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks guys.

I'll second the Rush pipes suggestion. Several different baffle options make it easy to get the loudness you want.

For the "deep throaty" exhaust I went with the Linda Lovelace slip-ons.
