Got a great deal on waterproof gloves
I had a pair (waterproof) made by First Gear that as I recall were about $70 at least, which I found at an HD shop of course. Nice gloves and hate I lost one. That happened while on a ride and as the temps warmed I switched to fingerless gloves.
Not far from me there is a flea market that has a shop that deals in nothing but bike stuff. A mix of decent stuff to junk I wouldn't buy. Anyway I went there to see if they had waterproof gloves and they did. Have not ridden with them in the rain yet but they are very nice mid weight gloves I snagged for $35 ODT. Leather with a waterproof membrane and a nice gel palm.
These are between my Gerbings and lightweight gloves so neatly fit the niche I needed.
Point of the post it pays to look elsewhere than HD for just about anything.

I got some waterproof ones from BMW. I noted that if the glove doesn't have an inner and outer gauntlet you will get wet. If you tuck in the gloves, water goes in your jacket, and if you put gloves over sleeve, water goes in your gloves. So far so good, testing in the "great northwet".

Soooo.....all that and you can't say what brand they are or mention the flea market's location/name? Thanks for the total lack of anything we could use to possibly participate in that good deal.

I picked up a pair of leather waterproof gloves at Cyclegear a few months back for $29. They have an inner liner and are warm to boot.

Get a pair of Sealskins and a larger pair of Wells Lamont gloves. Put the 1st inside the 2nd and ride on!

I was in desperate need of new winter gloves last Saturday, Looked at the HD store and anything worth buying was 100 bucks, figured I could do better else where and left. Wound up at Eagle Leather, and to make a long story short, I walked out with a $100 pair of First Gear gloves. They're good gloves, and I'm not knocking them, just wished (like Mike) that I hadn't of lost one of my others.
