Phil, congrats. I have been retired for two months and can't believe the positive changes. No more heart burn, I sleep better, and just plain feel better. Ride safe and hope to cross paths with you.

Ya need to form or join a Wednesday ride group. We call ours the "Wednesday Warriors" but my wife calls us the "Hell's Old Farts" We meet at 9am in the Winter and ride around ending at a good lunch spot. In the Summer when it's hot, we meet at 8, go to breakfast then ride till noon.

Life is good.

 

Happy trails, Philt! I can only imagine what that will feel like when its my turn in 13 years. My plan is to give the Low Rider to my wife and get a Road Glide (or whatever the MOCO makes that I like in 13 years!) and hit the road.

Congratulations on retirment!!

I retired four years ago, bought a Super Glide two years ago, and put 28,000 miles on it. Three months ago I took delivery of an 07 Road Glide to make the long trips a little more comfortable.

Life is Good.

 

I'm back.........had a great ride today! I love to get up in the morning and have the wife ask me "what are you gonna do today?" and be able answer......"goin' for a ride" LOL

 

I retired about a year ago. We moved out of California, so pretty much this first year all I've been able to ride have been short runs - due to the move. This summer though..
