If you could live anywhere,

If you could live anywhere,
Where would it be?
Seems to be some complaints about the winter weather and poor riding conditions. So, where do you think would be the best place to live & ride in the USA?
I foundupstate New York a "learning experience." Learned to just look at the bike in the garage throughout the winter as the snow piled up, then learned to ride in the rain when it finally warmed up.
Except for the heavy traffic, Las Vegasis a great place to ridein the fall, winter, and spring, but in the summer, its like riding ina blast furnace.
Floridawould be perfectif you don't mind rain, humidity, hurricanes, tornados, bugs, heavy traffic,blue-hairs trying to run over you, etc.

RE: If you could live anywhere,
I've only lived on the coast of CA (south, central, north) so I'm biased and lack experience elsewhere, but I sure can't find anywhere that has weather like CA. So I have to say Pismo Beach, CA!!!! (where the range of temperature is only like 30 degrees throughout the year)
But I've seen other parts of the country and know they have a whole lot of beauty. But I'm just not geared for snow, heat, or humidity.

RE: If you could live anywhere,
I'm quite happy here in Arizona. I can relate to the 'blast furnace' in the summer though. Other than that it really doesn't rain that much and it doesn't get cold enough to lock yer ride up in a dungeon during the winter months. When I get filthy flippin rich, I'll probably buy a summer home somewhere in Montana and migrate back to AZ in the winter.

Currently in Pittsburgh. I think northern Georgia is about the best for me. Mountainous, four seasons, Beaches a short drive away. Florida a couple of hours south. Smokey mountains a little north.

RE: If you could live anywhere,
I have 18 years to figure this question out....I want a temperate climate, year round opportunities to ride, not to crowded, near the beach so I can hear the waves at night.....Jacksonville, FL looks nice but boy its getting crowded quick....

Naw folks, Arizona sucks. Too hot, too dry, too desolate, and too many people here already. The People's Republik of Kalifornia, however is really nice go there instead.
