I saw the 750 this weekend at Petersons in Miami. It looked very nice. It was not for sale, but for display only, (no clue why so don't ask me) or it would have been sold several times in the 20 minutes I was looking at it. I'd get one for the wife if she'd let me. Then I'd borrow it for short hops around the neighborhood

Same here. The dealer has them fitted with bright red crash bars front and back.

Made in America is the only thing that lets Harley get away with selling motorcycles that cost as much or more than cars. How many Harleys would sell if they were made in China? I sure as heck wouldn’t own one.
Interesting story in the last HOG magazine, showing the Street assembly line. The engines are assembled in KC (like the Vrod engines) and the bikes are assemble there just like the Sportsters, Dyna's and Vrods. All HD's are "assembled" from parts produced globally. I don't think the Streets are much different than any others assembled there.

That's twice the size of the bikes I learned on.I remember when a 750 seemed pretty big.
Haven't seen them in person yet, but the commercial looked like they were trying at least. I think some beginners, and others who want something smaller or less $$$ will buy them. we'll see.

I'm a fan of them, wish I could talk the wife into one as well. Being a young rider myself, seems like they are definitely trying to appeal to the younger generations.. A lot better than seeing a bunch of rockets at bike night. But I'll stick to my 800lb lead sled.

My youngest daughter has been working at Brunswick Harley Davidson for the last two years, selling motor clothes, helmets, boots, etc. She saw the ad for these back when they were first announced & put her "DIBS" on one of the 750s. I've been putting $$ away for her as a college graduation present to kinda soften the blow to her wallet. Spozeta be here early next month. We were told that the Streets had gone to dealers in the southern US first, since they had the longer riding season. I also heard they were being used for The HD Rider's Edge courses...

Harley used the 500 in our riders course. Not a bad bike, looks more like a scooter to me but all the ladies seemed to like it a lot due to size and weight.

Nice bikes. I think the 750 would be fun to road race on and/or hit the hills.

Frederick HD (Frederick, Maryland) is using them for the class. The Mrs. takes her class this week.

My wife took her class last month on the 500. She loved it, it is perfect for smaller framed individuals and easy to learn on.
