After reading that review,it sounds like ma HD laid an egg....
The old Honda Ascot v-twin(50 hp no leaks) will trounce it's ***.

Those that like metric looking bikes will like the way these new Harley's look.
And that may be enough for them to buy one.

Those that do not like the way metric bikes look. That is why they buy Harleys. So I do not see a lot of Harley riders going out and buy one. For the same reason that not many Hummers or Americhi's were sold by Harley. They were ugly looking.

Regardless of our opinions of the looks, or liquid cooling the fact of the matter is that we're not the target customers. We already have traditional Harleys and are not likely to do anything else.

NEW younger customers are what Harley is looking for here. It's likely to succeed. Despite what any of us think of the V-Rod it sells big in warm countries where air cooling is not as practical.

Wife and I both kinda like them, though my immediate reaction was to hate it.

But even though I just got a brand new bike, I'm already playing in my head the idea of getting one and turning it into a cafe racer

Honda makes alot of good stuff but there Vtwins sound like @ss , can't stand riding behind one.
