Default What I’d Have Modeled the Street 750/500 After

I spotted this baby while I was running between halls at SEMA last week, and even just parked in a nondescript corner on a patch of seriously God-awful carpet, it looked bad ***. The exhaust looks killer, and it’d be wicked if the factory integrated the classic Stars and Stripes #1 into the paint scheme. I imagine bikes like that’d make some buyers considering Triumph or Ducati think twice.

Couple more photos on the Blog.

Boy, you aren't kidding. I thought we were talking about the new bike. I live just out side of Detroit and come from a family that left the family farm to build cars. I can tell you all about the effects of down sizing and out sourcing. Want to buy some vacant land?

They already did build that bike, and ceased production...

Yep, it's a n/a...you're looking at a XL1200R. HD's simply looking to draw attn. to a crowd who (1) can't afford bigger bikes, (2) is looking for economy w/today's financial strains, & (3) wants to be cool...

Yes that was on the dealers show floors just 3 or 4 years ago. Just not water cooled. But i never seen one on the road or a bike run.

I love this design, I just upgraded to a 2014 Street glide and have a custom Rigid Bobber but my son will be right at home on the 750 Street. As an entry bike this is a perfect alternative to a foreign bike. I hope they keep trying new ideas and improvements to stay on top of the market.
