Heated Vest

IMHO - Don't waste your money on a vest, instead go for a heated jacket/liner. It'll keep your entire upper body warm AND will provide the wiring needed to plug heated gloves into. Get a dual controller so that you don't have to run the system either full on or off all the time. Gerbings and Harley are one in the same. This is what I run and it works great.

I have both, generally I prefer the heated vest with my heated grips. The only time I go the other way (jacket/gloves) is riding to/from Daytona in March, riding all day in the extreme cold.

I have the heated vest and have been very happy only a couple times have i wished for the full jacket liner, vest does very well at keeping me warm if it gets real cold then heated gloves too they gloves come with a harness so you can use it without the vest or with the vest . recommend either one , jsut what you prefer I like less bulk on my arms

I'm a Newer rider, but I'm thinking of getting the gloves (definitely) and a jacket or maybe smaller liner. I like the best idea, but if it's truly cold, I'd rather deal with a bulkier top and have the option of being warm. But the gloves and maybe even the goofy socks will be first (my hands and feet are miserable when cold!) We'll see. And I definitely think that the gloves, over grips, would be the way to go (much warmer).

I've got both. The vest is ok if its not too cold but on longer rides the jacket liner is the way to go. The thermostatic control is great. You will really appreciate the heated sleeves and collar when it gets chilly.
