Truer words have never been spoken!

I live just north of ATL, and the country roads and small towns of north GA are amazing. Did 2 rides this weekend totaling about 350 miles and about 8 hours of saddle time. I ride when I can and I love every laid-back mile.

I own the bike; the bike doesn't own me.

All of my mileage has come from commuting after a late start to the summer here and in between a summer of almost constant rain. Woke the other morning to 20F and a hard frost so I know its almost at an end and it doesn't even seem like it ever really started for me this year! How bout you others? Good or bad year for some mileage?

Bad year for me. Mostly because work cut our hours. I was working 50 a week for the past 19 years and they cut us back to 40 it has lasted longer than any of us thought it would but at least I have a job. At the start of the year I was also off the bike due to accident so that was three months of no riding. I normally put about 25,000 a year on my bike and this year I have only put about 5000 It sucks
