Default Charging Dead Battery

Rode my sporty all winter, but had some surgery about 5 weeks ago and left the bike in my garage, no tender, but figured it would start right up. I was wrong. The battery is weak. Can I now put it on a tender/charger and save it. Is 5-6 weeks too long to leave a bike without a charging system? Thanks

How old is the battery? I left my 2006 RoadKing parked for about the same time frame and no problem statrting without a battery tender, had some nights in the low teens. One thing my garage is attached to the house but is unheated.

Depending on the age of the battery you might be able to nurse it back, use a low amp charge over a day or so.
