As much as some love the expensive Zumo, there are others that didn't have much luck with theirs, like me...mine must have been made on a monday or something.......Talked with a few guys that have the 660 as well as the older 550 model, and just about everybody likes the 550 better. Food for thought....May not help you,but just wanted to give you my opinion on the 660.

I've recently begun to use Mapquest. You can go online and drag out your 100% custom route, and send it to your phone, or email it to yourself, and then pull it up on your phone when riding to get the turn-by-turn directions. Is free, and I love it!

This stuff frustrates the crap out of me... I do pretty well with computer programs but can't figure out how to make custom maps to install into my Nuvi 3590.
Just downloaded Tyre and the help is frikin useless. Is there any program with instructions that walks you through making a simple route. I can make routes on Google Maps all day and print them or write directions down but make one and load it into a GPS just isn't happening.
