Default NEW MEMBER....Can FootPeg Position Be Changed??

Hey all,

Something I have been wondering about when I look at some of the HD models is the positioning of the foot pegs.

Lets look at the Wide Glide as an example. I love the looks of the bike, it is beautiful to me. The ONLY thing I don't know if I'd like is the position of the pegs. Since I am new to riding, I don't think I'd like my legs extended like that and it seems much more reassuring to me to have my feet somewhat under me sitting on those floorboards.

I would like to know if those foot pegs and controls could be moved on the bikes like the WIDE GLIDE to a position more underneath me like what's on the SWITCHBACK.

Since I have never ridden a HD or really even sat on one, I am going to go to my local dealer and check them out tomorrow or Saturday. Going to sit on some of the ones I like and see how those foot pegs on the Wide Glide feel. I may end up liking the position. I just wanted to know if it were possible to move them if I wanted that bike.

Thanks for the help.

If you bought the bike they would put the foot pegs and anything else you wanted any where you wanted them.$$$$$

+1 They would be more than happy to move the pegs and controls, but it's going to cost you.

Very cool Wide Glide. Firewomen. If that is what it is. I quit trying to keep up after Willie G. came out with the Super Glide.

Thing is the wide glide is a feet forward kind of bike.

Buy a smaller, less powerful bike and learn to ride (well). Then decide what you like and want.
