If you are military or have ID check out the bases there. Navy has small facility on the beach with rooms 35-50 depending on whether on the bay or not. Tyndall AFB is in town and a bit cheaper, but not on the beach. Not a price gouging place at the rally. Lot's to do and great food around. I live 90 minutes north and have been to Thunder Beach a few times
