do you have a 1-dealership loyalty?

I would love to give all my business to the dealer I bought my bike from as they really treated me great - Cowboy HD in Beaumont. However, it is an hour away even though I have 5 others closer to me. I go to a particular one for my parts and service, Stubbs HD, they have been really cool as well. Unfortunately the closest one, San Jacinto HD, always gives me a bad feeling when I walk in, everyone there has an attitude that they are doing me a favor by letting me walk in and shop at their dealership, so I avoid that one unless I am desperate for a quick part.

What mikelikesbikes said! Bought my bike at one dealership that's an hour a way, but get parts from another that's right down the road from me (15 min.) if I don't order it from on line.

I live 5 minutes from one dealer and take my bike the other 45 minutes the other direction for service. I'm currently making over my garage to do more of my own work and seaking an independent for things like tire mounting but, for now I will stay with the one dealer.
It comes down to, I like the people there. I know they are charging too much for what they do and it's irratating. For now I feel it is best to stay with them throughout the warranty period. The dealer near my house has arrogant employees who lack experienced knowledge. They have no idea about the most basic parts on the bikes they sell and yet, they treat you poorly.

I have 7 dealers within 30 minutes and anothe 2 within and hour. I have been to all of them when about to buy a bike and/or parts. There are 2, surprisingly owned by the same people, that give service over and above. I will always shop around before buying but always get the best deal and best service at either of these 2. In the last 10 years I have bought 6 bikes from them. Seems like the others just dont care if they sell you anything or not.

The only thing I know that doesn't apply from one dealership to the next, is the reward points.

we have no complaints at all about our local dealership, but there are some other dealerships with more bikes, and one further away with better prices, since they deal in repo bikes. A few thousand dollars less.

Living in a major metro area, I have several dealers to choose from. I really don't like the ownership of the dealership where I bought my bike. They haven't treated me badly, they are just a big holding company that owns a bunch of dealers around the country (Harley and other). Had I known this before I bought my bike, I would have gone elsewhere.
I prefer to deal with locally owned dealers, so I usually visit another dealer for parts and accessories.
