I like to ride alone too, but lately I have been riding with a couple of other guys and it has been fun.

 

I rarely get to go alone - the wife is always ready to "saddle up"! We do have some friends to go riding with. Maybe once or twice a month usually only us and one other bike.

Yeah, me too, partly. Part Irish, Welsh, Scottish, German. So, always getting in huge ethnic bloody fights with myself and not fun to ride with when that happens.

 

I like to ride alone and I like to ride with my wife on her own, and I like to ride with 2 or 3 others and I like to ride in big groups. I just like to ride! I definitely never drink and ride! And I won't ride with anyone that is drinking. I did that a few times and that was a scary thing. A lot of guys don't realize how stupid they can be after the 2nd of 3rd bar stop!

I much prefer to ride alone and will meet people at a destination rather than ride in a group. I like being alone with my thoughts and not having to put up with the inevitable butt head you find in every group. You know, theone that wants to race or spin his tires at every light or wanders all over the road etc....

 

I just like to ride. Alone is more than ok with me and if i'm gonna ride with a group, I prefer to keep it less than 8 folks that I already know.

 

I guess I know a few people who ride.
Some like to ride too fast, some like to ride too slow, some like to drink or smoke dope all day, some just plain don't know how to ride.

There are a few people that I feel comfortable riding with and that is fun.

When I'm by myself, I can set my own pace, I can stop when I want to, and I don't have to look out for anybody but myself.

 

Usually I ride alone 90% of the time. I ride with my father-in-law and brother-in-law a few times during the year but they don't like to get out as often as I do. [sm=biker.gif]

If riding in a large group (poker run) I tend to stay at the back so no one runs into me.

 

I don't really know anyone else to ride with so by default I'm alone about 99.9% of the time unless my girlfriend is on the back. There is a bar about 15 miles from the house that always has bikes outside, but I'm not really into the bar scene. I've pulled up at a gas station a few times and have seen a couple riders there. They usually just give me weird looks and don't seem to want to go so far as to say hello so I just stick to myself. I don't know if it's because I'm only 27 or what, but the older guys don't give me the time of day to even let me ask to ride a few miles together. Oh well.
