Just picked up some concert tickets
Thought you guys would appreciate that I'm headed to the Rowdy Friends concert in May. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Jr, and 38 special are playin at the Palace of Auburn Hills here in Michigan. I figured their kind of music is engrained in us all? Am I wrong?

Nope, you're right as far as I'm concerned. Even though I'm a northern boy, I've always had a special place in my heart for Southern Rock and still try to see any act from that genre that makes it up to Wisconsin. Last year I went to theSkynyrd show at Summerfestand thought it was one of the best concerts I'd ever been to. I've seen .38 Special and Hank Jr. a few times also. I'd say you're gonna love the concert. [8D]

I saw Skynyrd back in the 70s when they were the opening act for the Who at the old Capital Center in Largo, MD. No one had heard of them yet; when the announcer said Lynyrd Skynyrd was coming on, everyone was like, "Leonard who?" But they blew the roof off the place.
