Just stopped by my mailbox, thought I would share:
Appears its chucks way of tell'n me I wasted my time posting my Deluxe of Gillette story. I wonder if one of the things on the "Scavenger Hunt" is a near new Dunlop E3 ? Noticed the post mark is out of Casper...
I'm not buy'n it, and I had to laugh, if this thread wasn't get'n to him, why even bother sending me this card ?

When you go to the dealer off the back of a tow truck you're not in the best position to price shop, if you've been ridding for a few years you'll have list of Dealers\ Shops that you'll never step foot in again. Bottom line is you can't let a little thing like paying a little more ruin your trip or your life, there is a bright side, you where able to safely continue your trip and the new tires where not defective.
I don't believe this thread has anything to do with the money the OP has spent. He has already said that he has let that go. This is about warning others about the unscrupulous business practices of Chuck and his crew at Deluxe and the many ways that everyone has reached out to warn our fellow riders.

The OP was brave to face potential criticism when he came forward, and this community responded with support, and poking some fun at a jerk who's policy is to screw the little guy, especially when he's out of apparent options and in need.

Who is Bob the Bartender? Sounds like an artist friend of mine when I lived in Gillette. Wow, "Dinner will be served at 6:30"? You guys wear your ties, for the Deluxe Dinner!

Damn, I didn't get invited. Send them back and tell them when they send out more toilet paper you'd like something a little softer

You should go to the event Chuck is hosting. Of course if it were me, i'd print out the thread and start handing out copies to all of the other attendees.
