G'morning all, here's a new banner for your facebook pages

Be sure to tag all three dealerships if you are so inclined and know how...I don't but am trying to figure it out.

Have fun

I'd like to do that, but don't have a clue how to proceed -- can anyone post some directions?

Be warned: Don't bother trying to interpret their rules, because I once went through something similar and it was made very clear to me that its their rules for them to interpret....even if they don't make sense. Then again, that doesn't make sense either. Aren't rules supposed to be for the users and easy to interpret?

Remember, we're in someone else's house so even I won't get worked up over it. I shake my head, but I admire anyone who has the patience to perform admin functions on any forum.

If that's the stupidest thing you have ever heard, then you don't get out much.
And ticking off the Mod's will get you escorted to the door quickly...

It almost seems like extortion. We have an unsatisfied customer who is blasting the dealership. If the dealership wants to respond they must pay money? Doesn't seem fair to me. If that's truly the policy then I think the thread should be locked. There are 2 sides to every story and while I have no reason to believe the OP is lying not allowing the dealer to respond is not the right way to handle it. If they have another side to the story they should be allowed to tell it without paying.

The forum staff can run this forum however they want, but if it were me I'd give the dealer and chance to respond free or charge or just lock the thread and be done with it.

Imagine if the dealership convinced Harley to put up a 'Don't trust hdforums.com - They are a bunch of liars' somewhere on an official Harley forum or page.. and when the staff of hdforums wanted to respond they were told they had to pay $$$. I'd think the staff here would say F-that and not pay and also say it was unfair.

Honestly I think the chance this dealership took advantage of this guy is extremely high, and has likely done it to many people. But if there is another side to this issue I certainly wouldn't pay to have to defend myself. I think if this dealer had their lawyer write up a cease and desist this thread would be gone very quickly especially considering the 'pay' requirement. Kind of surprised they haven't gone that route actually.

Anyways, as said before, its not my forum and the staff here can run things however they see fit. I'm just offering my opinion..

What is being said that requires a cease and desist order? If every negative review on the Internet had a gag order slapped on it where would it end? This thread has already been locked and reviewed once, if there was anything illegal or unethical going on it would not have opened back up.
