That's the line of action I'd take anyway
He agreed to purchase a product and received what he paid for. Granted the service manager is a douchebag but unless they mounted defective tires disputing the charge is no different than writing a bad check. No reason to sink to their level.

I'm still alive & riding, and this since 1983, the first time I bought a motorcycle.
I've done that for years and years on jap bikes. I NEVER heard this about mixing treads until this thread. I've ridden thousands of mile 90mph after just replacing one tire.

Reading about people using car tires, changing out wheels and wheel sizes. Worrying over a different tire tread is just OCD IMHO. The bike I've got now has two different tire treads.

I remember year's ago I had a flat on an almost brand new tire, my uncle put a tire plug in it for me and I ran that thing till it had no tread left.. now I can see maybe a dealer bein hesitant to do it, but this not runnin 2 mismatched tires thing is a little much for me to deal with,

Like Others have said the owner of that dealership should be ashamed that they treat people like that, He's probably thinkin it's all about the money bet he's lost a lot due to this thread. Thank's for the warnin I was thinkin bout runnin thru that state in the near future

If we all call the shop on the same day, say Tuesday, and speak to the store manager about their handling of this case, it might get their attention. So, everyone call on Tuesday, after about 30 calls they will get the point. Make sure you mention the specifics of this rip off incident.

Go to Yelp.com and leave a review. They don't have control over that system and reviews are not deleted.
