Default Ok.... So what moves?

When you have your bike on the stand and you rotate the back rim what actually moves in the engine/transmission/primary? The bike is in neutral and not running. I am getting a rattle/clunking noise from the tranny/primary area. More so the transmission. The bike has 32,000 miles on it. 2010 Ultra.

The transmission pulley and transmission main shaft which would include the gears attached to the main shaft.

Doesn't sound like anything to be concerned about on the surface to me. Is this something you just happened to notice or did something happen that caused you to do some investigation and the noise is what you found?

It is something I just noticed. I usually roll out of the garage with the bike running so I wouldn't hear it. It is always the noise/rattle/clunk issues that drive ya nuts.
