Blue Rose tell your daughter that Harley riders live longer.

I didn't want a Harley in my 20's. But now I'm in my 30's. (gasp!)

I had two Yamahas before I got my Harley a Road Star and A V-Star I used those to get my legs used to the road. Both great bikes, but not Harleys by any streach of the imagination. I did buy a crotch rocket as I am a speed freak when it comes to cars but quickly learned that I am gonna die on that thing so after having it for two years and leaving it parked most of the time I sold it back to the friend that I bought it from.

I guess you can say Harley is in my blood as my mom road when she was younger I tried the Jap versions just aint the same don't know how to explain it.

I bought my first HD when I was 18, traded a car. 2nd one 6 months later for $400 and it was rebuilt. This was back in the 60's. But I am not "old".

Hey give it up for the 20 somethings that got a harley!

your jsut going to the wrong bars man!

And I bet you planned it that way lol.

No smart man brings his daughter to a younger guy harley hangout, lol.

You just tell her that the reason she doesnt see any old guys riding crotch rockets is cause they all died young, lol[&:]

It's funny how the younger 20s crowd looks at Harley riders as old. My 21 year old step-brother wanted a Harley but couldn't go for a cruiser. He bought a Street Rod, and now regrets it because it is uncomfortable. Still, he would rather put up with discomfort, than to have his friends think he is not the cool guy! Silly kids.

Around here it's more likely then not daddy bought it for the boy.....would love to see her go out with a guy that could afford to pay for dinnermuch less a bike.
