I have a 99FLHT, would love to have that bike with the V-rod motor in it.. You know the Co. is going to go that way, even if we don't like it, personally I like the idea, but I have had water-cooled BMW'S before and there is a lot good to be said about water-cooled motors..I know a lot of you don't like the idea and I'm quite sure you will never have to go that route, always be air cooled motors and parts for same out there.

It's been around for a few years. Drag Specialties makes the brackets for doing the conversion...they call it the "Road-Rod"

my dealer (Renegade Harley, Alexandria, LA) had one the guy who told me this is a guy I grew up with that is the service guy at my hometown shop. According to him it came from on high from the MoCo.

yep, and the quicker the better..when they come out I'll be out there wanting one, I can honestly say that, I'll have a couple of good air-cooled for sale, low milage ones

I saw one of those Road-Rod's at Highland Harley in Somerset, PA this week. It looked pretty good, butI still wouldn't buy one though. I don't like the V-Rod.
