Do you really think your destination is pertinent information during a traffic stop?

You should read the thread again, I think I made it pretty clear why this question is asked.

It's indeed NOT **** Germany.

But it IS still the world we live in. I don't know if getting thrown in jail will fix all of the terrible injustices we deal with. My guess is it will just justify an a-hole cop's a-hole attitude to himself. And perhaps others.

Probably not the desired.result, is it ?

Funny story to mention this. An old work acquaintance of mine got pulled over for DUI, and said roughly the similar to the arresting officer. Well, as Murphy's Law would dictate, said officer's wife just happened to be the DA for that jurisdiction. Needless to say, it didn't work out so well for him in court.

A few years ago I got pulled over in Las Vegas. The policeman walked up to me and the first thing he said I did nothing wrong, he just wanted to know where I got the Marine Corps stuff for my bike, I told him the web sites and he shook my hand, got into his car and left.
