Goggles vs Riding Glasses
Since the majority of us have "Cabin Fever" here is another wasted read:
Taking a poll of riders who wear goggles and or riding glasses and why.
In my case (1/2 helmet): Riding glasseslocal and military goggles for touring. Don't know why, but just makes sense to me.

I wear goggles that fit over my glasses rather well. It wouldcost me several hundred bux to get a pair of Rx riding glasses so I don't bother.
I wear "Commander II"

PanOptix Riding Glasses with transition lenses.
Gotta have something to keep the wind out of my eyes (fake left eye contact in the right...wind is a bummer<G>
Goggles always feel too large on my face and are uncomfortable for me so I go with the glasses.

After losing several contact lenses while wearing sunglasses I switched to goggles (not large) and have been wearing them for at least ten years.

RE: Goggles vs Riding Glasses
I just bought some Wiley-X SG-1 glasses/goggles yesterday on ebay. I have an eye condition and can't handle wind in my face, and these glasses are supposed to be the s**t. The ones I got are military issue.

Half helmet, wileyX goggles all the time. Every ride with me starts with me jumping on the interstate to get to where i want to go. No sustitute for goggles to me when it comes to eyes watering at 80. Also the wileyX are not the big tank commander goggles, just look like sun glasses with foam around the eye and a small strap in the back.

RE: Goggles vs Riding Glasses
I've recently started wearing goggles most of the time, and especially on the highway. It's much more comfortable on the eyes. Now I just need to get some good ones to replace the current cheapies!
