May I ask what high output bulb did you put in your head lamp?

Harley can't do this, because of motor vehicle laws all manufacturers have to follow.
Same reasons they come with rather quiet exhaust systems.

I used that feature to get people to pull out of my way when I was in a hurry on my old Heritage- toggle it back and forth real fast.

Is it not in the dimmer switch? I figured I could maybe move a wire on the dimmer switch so it doesn't kill the power to the "passing lights"

I want to still be able to turn them off with the toggle switch if I don't want them on with my high beam.

BTW, I just installed the Truck lite phase 7 lights on my RK. MONEY WELL SPENT!!!!!!

Here is a schematic on how to wire the passing lamps to keep them on with your high beams.... It was posted on the forum some time ago and I kept a copy. Haven't tried it yet so can't comment on the final product.

it is fed dot law. motorcycles are only aloud to have 3 headlights. on old cars high and low beams were two different lights. low was on all the time, high came on to supplement. so now high beam is considered two lights. the running lights and hi would make 4 headlights and be illegal.

I am all for as much visibility as possible, if any of You all know, is there a modulator that can be put on the side lights to make them flash ? I think that would get some attention.

Stupid antiquated DOT regulation. My Tundra did the same thing, high beam turned off the fog lights. Ironically other countries regulate just the opposite; vehicles with lights on city or "low beam" can NOT have additional lighting. Switching to high ALLOWS additional lighting to function which makes more sense to me.

When you turn on high beams, you are trying to see further down the road. By turning OFF the fog/"passing" lights it helps by not washing out your long range vision with bright near field light.
