Anyone have pics of their bike with the sheetmetal powder coated? Kicking around the idea.

 

I had mine done before HD came out with Black Denim or whatever it's called.
I bought an extra set of fenders and tank off eBay so that I could keep my original sheet metal and paint
2003 FXSTBI Night Train

Flat Black with a 10% gloss. Had it done in Colorado Springs. Set me back a whopping 160 bux
I'm very happy with the results.

As you would with a 'regular' painter, ask to see some of the work that each shop has done.

Get an idea of their quality/workmanship.


Check-out NIC Industries...they are a powder manufacturer, and have thousands of colors to choose from. If you talk to them real nice on the phone, they will send you color samples in the mail so you can get a better idea of what your finished product will look like.
