Planning a trip heading to the Yellowstone area mid week after the rally. Will be going through Sturgis on the 15th. Anything left in Sturgis to see or still open for stragglers during that time? Or is everthing pretty much closed up tight by then?

 

The one time I stayed late they rolled up the streets on the last day of the rally.

 

That's kind of what I expected.

 

there is a lot of stuff to see if you want to do some riding, such as devil's tower, Rushmore, Custer state park, Needle's high way, Deadwood, and others I can't think of right now. As for staying in sturgis after the rally, I think most do it as to miss all the traffic because there is nothing in sturgis. you may as well come to Rapid City and hangout.

 

there is a place called ten sleep canyon in wyoming...supposed to be awesome. swing by and give us a report.
