Funny, wife and I just last night was talking about all the things I've hit, or rather hit me while riding.

After 47 yrs being in the saddle I've been hit by a lot of things, BUT I told her I've never hit one or had a BIRD hit me.

Bird chit, goose chit. bees, wasp, paper, cigs, hail, rain, 1 car and 1 telephone pole.. YES

But I'll add, I did get hit one time by a Kamikaze duck, (Yeppers) While duck hunting one time, some guys in a boat about 200 away shot one that made a nose dive right into my shoulder..

All I'll say is it felt like a freaking bowling ball hit me. Took me out of my seat and almost knocked me out of our boat.

I'm hoping to get hit by a beaver in the face sometime in the near future.

Yes. Some type of sparrow or something small to medium bird to the right cheek a few years ago doing around 60 MPH. Stunned me at first, but was fine within a few hundred yards.

One flew right through my custom front wheel once.
I think it was a Magpie.

Ridin home tonight through the haunted giant old growth forest I got nailed by a bat... .... first off, this strip of tree's are huge, pitch black at the base of a mountain... so you ride lookin straight ahead cause you don't wanna see the eye ***** in the tree line... the bugs through there are so heavy you swear it's snowing... and then the bat.
He clipped my night glasses bouncing off my shoulder. I of course started laughing, in the dark, all alone... because of this thread. .... cheers for that eh... least it wasn't a samsquatch

I had a pretty close call with a bird a couple weeks ago, just tried to stay straight and true but it was tough since I could practically SEE the panic on the thing's face before it finally veered off. It's not just the cars that have a tough time seeing us sometimes!
