I hit one years ago with my g/f on the back. We both had helmets on but it was still a bloody mess....mine, hers and the birds.

My brother, some friends, and I were heading out to eat at about 7:00 on a Saturday night about 8 years ago. I was riding on the back of my brother's fat-boy and the friends were following in a car. I always wear a half helmet (at least), my brother doesn't wear a helmet. We were going over an overpass on interstate traveling at about 70 mph and a bird hit me in the side of my face/helmet. My brother heard the "whack!" so he turned around to look at me. The bird had left half of his guts all over my face and the helmet. Thank goodness the helmet took the brunt of the hit. The edge of the helmet opened up the bird. My face was just covered in entrails, blood, and feathers (all of which could be wiped off lol!!). We took the next exit and found a gas station. When we stopped, all of our friends came running out of the car because they me get hit by the bird. The bird that hit me was some kind of small black bird. I am so glad the bird was small!!! Not a pleasant experience! We were all thankful the bird hit me in the head instead of my brother. Birds are no joke!

A bird hit my chest once and fell right into my lap. I grabbed it and tossed it over my shoulder and wouldn't you know it there was a motor cop behind me. He pulled me over for flipping him the bird.

I seem to hit at least one bird every year but none have ever hit my face. OUCH!
