Default Keep pass seat from scratching fender?

I ride solo a lot of the time (every day to work, etc) so took the clear fender tape stuff off soon after buying the bike. Well, after a few rides with the wife I see some lines where the pillion rubs the fender. Nothing permanent that won't polish out yet but I want to try and keep it from ever getting to that point. I'm thinking of maybe some stick on felt strips on the bottom of the seat where it touches the fender? Anyone else have a good solution?

Wool felt and fabric glue from the craft isle at WalMart is what I used. Cut it to fit and glue to the bottom of your seat. Some swirl remover or a good cleaner wax will clean your fender back up.

The dealer told me that my Heritage was designed for a passenger, and the scratches are from not carrying a passenger which allows the seat to move around. True story...
I just put a piece of synthetic shammy under the seat...

The CVO has two rubber and chrome strips under the Pillon, Harley must have seen this as a problem.

the felt moving around on your clear coat is gonna cloud it up. if you do a search for motorcycle armor, you should be able to find something that'll help.

I've had no issues with the felt. I regularly apply a good wax.
