Good thing about flat black is it can be touched up with a rattle can if it gets too ratty.

That just wouldn't work for me. My bike is mint green. I just can't picture myself cruisin down the road with a mint green lid...that would just be toooooo much uptown girlie fashion for me. I'll stick to black too...goes with all the rest of my leathers. On the otherhand, if I had a more subtle colour or really cool artistry on my tins, I would consider it.
