Just a Heads "UP"
Protect Ur Nose and ears..
My nose had been really red this summer, more that just a SunBurn and didn't go away, So I made an App with the Skin Dr.
Just got back from the DR. and I have what he called Pre-Cancer cells on it.
Have to use Fluorouracil 5% for three weeks (like chemo in a tube) to get rid of them (early detection/treatment makes a big diff). If not then it's surgery.
I always use an 80 sports sunscreen and it probably helped, but, didn't prevent.
47yrs of ridding I have burned my nose to many time he said likely caused it.

Like you're doc said, repeated burns more than likely contributed to it. I am a retired pharmacist so I know all about the fluorouracil cream, hope it works. I have been trying to be diligent in using suncreen especially on my nose since my Dad had a basal cell carcinoma on his years ago. Surgery took care of it, no recurrence.

yeah, you gotta be careful...lose your noise and ears and you have no place to hang your glasses!
never hear the guys that wear full face helmets complaining about sunburn/cancer on their faces do you...and yet another reason to wear atgatt.

I used to tan in the 80s and I've had two skin cancer operations and will soon have a third because of it. Now, I use SPF 110 on my arms and neck. I don't use it on my face because I have tinted face shield. But neither my arms of face has ever burned, even after 4+ hours in the Texas summer sun. You might want to start using a higher SPF sunscreen too.
