RE: My daughter rode with me
My daughter enjoys riding as well
She'll be18 in a few months
we're planning tennatively if her school grades inprove on doing the "Haul *** To the Pass" ride in June
It aught to be a hoot and what would be even sweeter is her sharing the experience with me...

Last summer I took my uncle for a ride. This was the first cycle ride since he got home from the Philippinesafter WW II. He told me that while stationed over there he andhis buddy came up with a small cycle someplace and tore up the island on it together.[sm=biker.gif][sm=americanasmiley.gif]
He lovedthe rideI gave him but he was a feared for his life when I went around the first corner. He did calm down and now asks for a ride every time I see him...

RE: My daughter rode with me
When I was 18, I gave my grandmother's best friend (about 70 at the time) a ride. She told me that she used to beg my dad for a ride on his Indian back in the 1940's and he never gave her a ride. I took her for about a 40 mile ride and she had a ball. I gave a couple ladies at work their first rides too and one of them enjoyed it so much she took the rider's edge couse and purchased an 883 Low. She was 50 at the time and had never been on a bike. She loves it and rides all the time with me. It's a great feeling to introduce someone new to riding.
