Default After market pulley

Hello all,I recently ordered a set of PM Wrath wheels andI got everything but the pulley (wheels & 2-piece rotors),due to the fact thatI heard somewhere that billet pulleys squeak and aren't as good as stock. Now i'm reconsidering my choice,I thinkI may add it, butI DO NOT want a squeaker. Has anyone run across this or have advice to offer? It would be greatly appreciated. Maybe this si a dumb question,I mean a 550$ rotor SHOULD be superior to the one offered stock on my bike, but i dont know. Also im concerned about the look of a stock pully on myexpensive billet wheels.

Thanks,

Joe

I've not heard that. I've got billet pulley, and my dad's bike has PM billet everything. No complaints so far. With those nice PM wheels you've got, I wouldn't keep the stock pulley. Good luck with your search.

If you keep the turn signal fluid reservoir full, the billet pulley won't squeak.

Harley replaced the turn signal fluid reservoir in 2006 with a maintenance-free gel reservoir. You'd know this if you did a search before posting.

Hey, Maine HD - I haveHD Thunderstar wheels & billet pulley on my FXDL and it doesn't squeak......realize it's not a PM but a friend had PM wheels & pulley on his ride and no such problem either.

See your a fellow Mainer - in Prospect? If so, just down the road from me (Orrington).

Nice looking BOB btw and really like the looks of that Rinehart. PM wheels/pulley should be a very nice addition.

Jim
